Liebe Welsh-Freunde,
wilde Pferde sind ein Mythos, der die Menschheit seit Jahrhunderten fasziniert. Das Gefühl von Freiheit, ungezähmtem Willen und unendlichen Weiten zaubert unmittelbar Bilder von atemberaubenden Landschaften vor dem inneren Auge. Was wenn… ja, was, wenn Sie selbst direkt Teil davon werden könnten?
Im Sommer 2022 bringen wir diese wilden Schönheiten zu Ihnen. Genauer gesagt, in die Aachener Soers, dem Austragungsort von Weltreiterspielen und dem Wimbledon des Reitsports. Ob der große ROLEX Grand Prix der Springreiter vor 40.000 Zuschauern oder der Deutsche Bank Preis in der Dressur im spektakulären Deutsche Bank Stadion – die Aachener Soers zieht die Zuschauer mit ihrem einzigartigen Ambiente in ihren Bann.
Welsh Ponys und Cobs werden gegenwärtig auf der ganzen Welt gezüchtet. Sie bilden bis heute die Grundlage für die Deutsche Reitponyzucht. Nur alle zwei Jahre findet die International Welsh Show statt, zu der Aussteller aus der ganzen Welt anreisen. 2019 war Australien das Gastgeberland. Für Deutschland wird diese prestigeträchtige Veranstaltung vom 20. – 21. August 2022 von der IG Welsh e. V. ausgerichtet.
Unterstützen Sie uns und werden Sie Teil dieser Großveranstaltung. Strahlende Kinderaugen auf festlich herausgeputzten Ponys. Ladys mit Hut und Kostüm, die stilecht ihren Nachwuchs begleiten. Stolze Hengste, die sich ganggewaltig im Ring präsentieren. Spannende Wettbewerbe im internationalen Wettstreit. Programm für die ganze Familie runden das Bild ab.
Eine erfolgreiche Turnier- und Zuchtveranstaltung, sowie eine optimale Vereins- und Jugendarbeit kann heutzutage nur noch durch ein sehr hohes persönliches Engagement von einzelnen (durchweg ehrenamtlichen) Personen und durch die finanzielle Unterstützung von Gönnern und Unternehmen bewerkstelligt werden.
Fördern Sie mit Ihrer Spende die vielseitigste Pony- und Kleinpferderasse der Welt und unseren Nachwuchs. Wir würden uns sehr darüber freuen.

Dear Welsh Enthusiasts,
Wild horses have a mystical air and have fascinated mankind for centuries. The feeling of freedom, untamed spirit and endless open spaces conjure up pictures of breath-taking landscapes. What if …yes, what if you were able to be a part of this experience?
In the summer of 2022 we are offering you the perfect opportunity to witness such wild beauty at the Soers showgrounds in Aachen. This traditional German venue, considered the Wimbledon of equestrian sport, hosted the World Equestrian Games in 2006; a variety of top-level equestrian competitions take place there every year. Whether the Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping in front of 40,000 spectators in the Main Stadium or the dressage competition for the Deutsche Bank Prize at the Deutsche Bank stadium – visitors are spellbound by the unique atmosphere of this venue.
Welsh Ponies and Cobs are currently bred all over the world. To this day they form the basis for the breeding of German Riding Ponies. The International Welsh Show, which is held only every 2 years and attracts exhibitors from around the world, was last hosted by Australia in 2019 and will take place in Aachen, Germany on 20 and 21 August 2022. Our society, IG Welsh e. V., is proud to be organizing this prestigious event.
